  • historical aspects (functions, windmills in the region, what’s left)
  • modern forms of wind energy
  • other forms of alternative energy

  • physical aspects: 4 (NL) 10(D)
  • Geographic/historic aspects: 3 (NL) / 9-10 (D)

Time:

  • Four weeks in June 04 (D)
  • Four weeks in spring 05

Result:

  • written versions in both schools + website in English (with German / Dutch translations)

Steps:

  • students from Schwanewede will have first results this year
  • S. publish their results on a website
  • from this: new themes, extra questions will be found (via email)
  • continuing work next spring students with ap. 30 students in Beekvliet and Schwanewede
  • choose best results
  • publishing the final results (schooljournals / website)
  • option: giving the results to a small group for “thinkquest”
